A newly built metal process installation, piping system, tank or power plant undergoes various processes, such as rolling, welding, grinding, etc. before it is ready for commissioning (pre-commissioning). To obtain a clean, passive steel surface, chemical technical cleaning is often carried out prior to the commissioning of systems / installations, pre-commissioning cleaning. This prevents the medium that is to be stored or transported in the system from becoming contaminated.

It is very important to detect damage, installation errors, manufacturing errors, etc. before commissioning. Through these activities, accidents that may occur during commissioning can be prevented, and commissioning can be performed smoothly. Calibration is closely related to product quality, operational safety and cost effectiveness. IES works with reliable equipment calibration specialists to help customers with successful projects.

The purpose of oil sampling and oil analyses is to achieve the highest level of machine performance, reliability and output quality at the lowest possible cost. Initial samples serve to establish benchmarks and to identify machines with critical contamination levels. Routine sampling serves to document that goals are met and can indicate abnormal wear or contamination that needs to be addressed.

Lifting appliance shall be load tested as part of FAT and after it has been installed at its operational. IES has the experience of successfully performing these tests on several projects.
