Kim Seong-hwi, CEO of Intrust Energy Solutions Inc., has donated 5 million KRW in emergency relief funds through ‘Asian Friends’ to support refugees of the Ukrainian war.

This donation is seen as an embodiment of CEO Kim’s personal philosophy of taking the lead in global service, a commitment he has consistently demonstrated while serving as the Chairman of the External Cooperation Committee for the Korea-Malaysia Economic and Cultural Exchange Association.

“I was deeply moved by the spirit of sharing and service shown by Chairman Lee Jung-sik and CEO Park Bok-ju of the Korea-Malaysia Economic and Cultural Exchange Association,” Kim stated. “As the Chairman of the association’s External Cooperation Committee and a young entrepreneur supporting the backbone of the Korean economy, I believe that ‘growth through sharing’ is essential. Although it is a small gesture, I hope to convey comfort and courage to the refugees enduring painful times.”

He added, “I donated this money to share their pain, however small the contribution may be. I hope the spirit of love and service becomes a light of hope for the Ukrainian refugees who are surviving day by day amidst the fear and horrific reality of war.”

Meanwhile, ‘Asian Friends’ is an NGO based on humanism that supports neighbors in Asia suffering from poverty and environmental disasters to maintain a dignified life. Through solidarity with activists in impoverished Asian regions, the organization carries out projects for sustainable development and contributes to raising global citizenship awareness.
