UNICEF Korea Committee (Chairman Jeong Kab-young) announced on the 8th that Intrust Energy Solution Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Seong-hwi) has donated KRW 10 million to support the healthy growth and well-being of children around the world.

Intrust Energy Solution, an eco-friendly energy company specializing in offshore plant projects, made the donation with the aim of delivering hope to vulnerable children facing crises caused by war, natural disasters, and other emergencies as the new year begins. The contribution will be used to support programs that promote the health and development of children globally.

CEO Kim Seong-hwi of Intrust Energy Solution stated,

“Intrust Energy Solution integrates social responsibility throughout all aspects of our corporate activities. Our donation campaign in partnership with the UNICEF Korea Committee is part of a company-wide social contribution initiative that our employees collectively support and participate in. We will continue our efforts to uphold the value of labor and practice social solidarity through sustained and meaningful actions.”

Cho Mi-jin, Executive Director of the UNICEF Korea Committee, expressed her appreciation, saying,

“We sincerely thank the employees of Intrust Energy Solution for standing with children with such warm hearts, even amid intense global competition. The donation will be carefully used to support the healthy growth of children around the world.”

UNICEF (United Nations Children’s Fund) is the only UN agency explicitly mandated under the Convention on the Rights of the Child to promote and protect children’s rights. It carries out programs worldwide in areas including health, nutrition, water and sanitation, education, child protection, and emergency relief. As UNICEF’s official representative organization in Korea, the UNICEF Korea Committee raises funds to support children globally and promotes children’s rights domestically through initiatives such as the Child-Friendly Cities program.
